Product Offering
MyQuirkBee activity boards are available for both purchase and rental, designed for children aged 1 to 5 years old. Our boards are focused on promoting fine and gross motor, sensory, cognitive, hand-eye coordination, problem-solving, and emotional development.
Delivery and Shipping
Orders are processed within 3-5 business days after order confirmation. The package will be sent to the address provided by the customer, who is responsible for ensuring its accuracy. Delivery is available within Switzerland, with Swiss Post as our trusted partner. For customers located near the seller’s address, personal delivery may be arranged upon request. Delays due to customs or carriers are outside our control.
Responsibility
The seller is committed to providing clean, sanitized toys to ensure safety. However, the seller cannot guarantee safety if toys are used by children of different ages without adult supervision. The carrier is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of the package; the seller is not liable for delays or non-delivery issues caused by the carrier.
Rental Returns
For rentals, each package comes with a pre-paid Swiss Post return label to simplify the return process at the end of the rental period. Customers are responsible for ensuring all items are returned in good condition using the provided return label. If the boards set is not returned, the seller reserves the right to charge for replacement costs. We recommend keeping all packaging, the prepaid label, and the deposit receipt as proof in case of loss or delay during return. Customers are required to wipe down any toys with visible debris ie. food, dirt, etc. before returning the boards back.
Cancellation of Rentals
If the customer wishes to cancel their reservation within 5 days of the rental period's start date, a cancellation fee of 50% of the rental fee will apply. No refunds are issued for cancellations made within 3 days before the reservation or for early returns. Cancellation requests must be communicated directly via WhatsApp for proper handling. Please note that a 5% credit card processing fee may apply to all cancellations.
Usage
The client agrees to use the boards under normal conditions. They are responsible for ensuring the child’s safety while playing. The seller is not liable for accidents or damages resulting from use. We encourage customers to carefully store the boards after each use to keep them easily accessible and reduce the risk of loss. This helps extend the lifespan of each item, allowing other children to enjoy them in turn.
MyQuirkBee boards are not for use in-water.
Damaged Items After Return from Rental
Upon return, all rented MyQuirkBee products will be inspected for damage beyond normal wear and tear. If a product is returned with significant damage, missing parts, or in a condition that requires repair or replacement, a damage fee may apply. This fee will be assessed based on the extent of the damage and communicated to the customer. By renting, the customer agrees to cover any applicable repair or replacement costs for damaged items.
Returns and Refunds for Purchased Items
Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery. Items must be unused and in their original packaging. Upon receiving returned items, they will undergo inspection. If you are approved, refunds will be issued within 7-10 business days after inspection, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. Items showing wear or damage may result in a partial refund. Note that shipping costs are non-refundable. The customer is responsible for any shipping costs incurred when returning items, except in cases where the item is damaged upon delivery. In the event of damage upon delivery, any issues must be documented with photographs and reported immediately to ensure a smooth return or exchange process.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at hello@myquirkbee.com or use the WhatsApp Chat button on our website. The item must be returned to us prior to processing the exchange.
Intellectual Property
All MyQuirkBee designs, concepts, and product content—including board layouts, bag designs, and associated materials—are protected intellectual property. This includes the unique arrangement of free-license images with custom engravings, structural elements, and the distinctive cutting of wooden parts, which together form proprietary designs. While individual images may be freely licensed, the specific layout and integration create a unique compilation protected under intellectual property law. Any reproduction, distribution, or unauthorized use without prior written consent is strictly prohibited, and MyQuirkBee retains full rights even after purchase or rental.
Data Protection
At MyQuirkBee, we prioritize the confidentiality and protection of your personal data. We share your information only with our chosen delivery provider to fulfill your order, while your name, address, and email remain strictly confidential and will not be shared with third parties. We take all necessary measures to safeguard your data from unauthorized access or use. By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept these terms. Thank you for your trust.
